BioThis is where I track the habits of and bitch about my stepkid, The Creature, who's too old to be considered a kid, but too immature to be considered adult. This LJ may be tedious, repetetive, or mean-spirited. The mean-spirited part is probably going to be the only bit of this LJ with any entertainment value. I can't even guarantee that, and I'm not here to entertain you anyhow.
This is friends only. Ask me if you want to read about my endless trudge over Monster Isthmus. Feel free to opine, if you're the opining kind. Keep in mind that The Creature is not you, nor your kid, nor your young adult, nor an ordinary kid/young adult. He's got issues up the wazoo, and good reasons for a lot of them. I'll talk about how he acts them out, but I'll always keep some of his wacked backstory private, and you're just going to have to trust me on some contextual stuff.
This is for me to document the monotony, aggravation, and heartbreak. It's one more tool to prevent me from fucking strangling someone who's in my care.
Maybe someday it'll be something else.
